The brief
A 9:16 frame creates useful height but very little comfortable line width. The treatment had to preserve a handwritten character while keeping every phrase readable at phone size for nearly three minutes.
Give the empty height a job
Golden-hour architecture and long shadows create vertical movement before any text appears, so the frame never feels like unused space.
Separate personality from legibility
Handwritten motion provides the accent. The primary lyric remains simpler and larger, protecting fast phrases from the texture of the footage.
Let phrases breathe
Lines write and settle with the vocal rather than animating continuously. That pause gives viewers time to finish reading before the next entrance.
The result
The finished master keeps a single visual language across the full 2:58 song and delivers at native 1080×1920 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. The playable master on this page is the evidence, not a simulated mockup.
