Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Lyrdeo. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service or violate these Terms.

You retain all rights to the audio, lyrics, artwork, fonts and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant Lyrdeo a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transcode and render Your Content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the audio and lyrics you upload, including any sample clearances, mechanical licenses, or label permissions required to create and distribute a derivative video. Lyrdeo is a tool; rights clearance is your responsibility.

You may not (a) upload content that infringes third-party rights, (b) use Lyrdeo to harass, defame, or impersonate, (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the service, (d) resell raw API credits, or (e) use Lyrdeo to generate sexual content involving minors or other content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and is not pro-rated. We may offer refunds at our discretion for billing errors. Plan limits are listed on the pricing page and may change with notice.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages and force-majeure events may temporarily affect processing or playback.

Lyrdeo relies on third-party service providers for cloud hosting, payment processing, content processing, email delivery and analytics. Their terms govern processing performed on their infrastructure. We share only the data necessary for those services; see our Privacy Policy for the categories involved.

The Lyrdeo name, logo, and software are owned by Lyrdeo, Inc. Style presets, templates, motion code and the editor UI are licensed for use within the service and may not be redistributed or re-implemented for a competing product.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that exports will be free of errors, that automatic alignment will be accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lyrdeo’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid Lyrdeo in the twelve months preceding the claim. Lyrdeo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data or lost business opportunities.

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach. Upon termination, your projects are retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted; previously delivered exports remain yours.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place of business of Lyrdeo, Inc., without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts having jurisdiction over that location, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
